Hey, here’s your chance to be a full time Spotify employee, starting with a summer internship!
Our Roles Within Front End & Mobile
For the Summer of 2019 we are among others looking for interns in these areas below. Please note that we might have more than one role within each area within multiple teams
Front End Development
We are looking for Front End/Web Engineering Interns to join the band. Some teams work with a feature like search, others focus on supporting monitoring or making it super easy to deploy features on a certain type of client. You will collaborate with other software engineers, product owners, designers, and analysts to plan, design and shape our responsive web solutions. Bind our front and back end services together and monitor, test and optimize your designs. Build the user interface (UI) and design language across different platforms. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music.
Degrees: Computer Science or equivalent
Android & iOS Development
We are looking for iOS & Android Engineering Interns to join the band next summer. In this role, you will help build an application that millions of people use every day to discover and listen to music. You will build cutting edge iOS or Android features, help write clear, maintainable code that will scale across a number of projects and distributed development teams. You will help improve performance, and build beautiful user interfaces, but bove all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music.
Courses: Computer Science, Mobile Development or equivalent
Skills: Java for Android and/or Objective C and C++
The Intern Gig
This isn’t just any internship! Our paid internship program will last for 12 weeks next summer starting in the middle of June, and you’ll get a chance to gain in-depth knowledge of what it’s like to be a Spotify employee.
For the Program we’re looking for enthusiastic students/recent graduates with a passion for music and an ambition to go far, just like us. You should be at the end of your studies, graduating latest Summer 2020 or recently graduated from your studies.
Make sure attach your CV and Cover letter in English and specify what Intern role you’re interested in, in the application form. We will then match you with the best Intern role based on your interest and skill set.
The deadline to apply is December 3rd, 2018 at 11:59 PM CET. You can expect the following application timeline:
- Late December, 2018 – Mid January, 2019: Application Review
- Late January, 2019 – March, 2019: Interviews
